Naim 6 Report post Posted December 3, 2012 Very nice set of pics here. Maybe we can populate this thread with our own airplane-window pics! === http://twistedsifter.com/2012/11/seeing-the-world-through-an-airplane-window/ Seeing the World Through an Airplane Window [50 pics] Whenever I fly I always ask for a window seat. Seeing the world from above gives you a different perspective on the world. Patterns emerge, nature shines and cities feel colossal. On Flickr there are many groups dedicated to photography from an airplane window. From the Airplane Window has a collection of over 15,000 images while Window Seat Please has amassed over 88,000 photos. Even a simple search for ‘airplane window‘ nets about 60,000 results. Below you can tour the world through 50 beautiful pictures shot through an airplane window. I opted for shots that included some part of the plane such as the wing for consistency. All credit to the amazing photographers for capturing the world and sharing it with others to enjoy! 1. Somewhere Around Madrid, Spain Photograph by Sidney Gomez on Flickr 2. Cire 0 Report post Posted December 4, 2012 Beautiful photos. Such a different out look altogether when seen from the skies. I took quite a lot of shots (thank God for digital cameras) of the plains and mountains myself during my flights over to the EU. A bit difficult especially when you got to lift up the shade, and the light shown through the darken interior is so bright. Can hear pther passengers mumbling their displeasure..hahaha... Got to sheild the out the glaring light with my body..but its worth it.

Mushrif A 3 Report post Posted December 5, 2012 Picture #17...say whaaaat? I said something similar. I'm not so sure that is anywhere near Dubai given the landscape. The only Dubai-related thing is the airline.
Kee Hooi Yen 0 Report post Posted December 5, 2012 Where is your preferred seats in Y, before the wing or after ? I prefer after as it offers an unobstruced window view
Waiping 12 Report post Posted December 5, 2012 (edited) After means you have to sit quite far behind which may not be comfy during turbulence. I usually like the first row or as front as possible. Edited December 5, 2012 by Waiping
