Another leakage from our spy at the MH Rumour Department:

MH is going to upgrade KTM to daily B772, up from daily B738.

Really? Wow...but 772 approach for KTM would be very2 steep one... Flaps and gear must be used way early, and the approach glide must be more than the usual 3 degree..

Finally AKL is a daily affair. http://airlineroute.net/2013/07/03/mh-akl-w13/

Now waiting for FRA to be daily too.

Technically it isn't daily - and it's only for the Southern Summer months

This is really stupid...press releases, full page adverts, asking folks to book online...but DXB doesn't even exist as a destination on MH's booking engine.

Right decision to return to DRW. They will capture a lot of OneWorld customers.

Guys, do you think BKI-NRT on the B738 will work?

Guys, do you think BKI-NRT on the B738 will work?

Shouldn't be a problem with something like 2 flights a week. There are always more than just a few Japan bound passengers or passengers originating from Japan to/from BKI and now most of them are now either taking KA/CX via HKG or OZ via ICN.

Anyone knows how's the load on the twice weekly BKI-KIX anyway ?

Now that MH is in oneworld, it is a good route to develop and nurture, especially for the traffic between Borneo and the USA via NRT.
