V8-ALI was buzzing about BKI earlier this morning

Usual rotten luck - had to keep eyes on the road and hands on steering wheel

By the time I got to Jln Selangor, gone already :)

After a few days of torrential rain particularly in the afternoon finally we had a clear day today. A couple of spotters were around the usual spot, but traffic on Sundays are generally poor. Only 1 semi-special to share. 9M-MWF with Rhythm of Borneo sticker at the back.

S M Tang, She departed around 1:50pm. I have been trying to catch her for awhile now. Initially thought she was with Transmile KUL. Instead was told she could be from JHB. Usually nocturnal.

Spotted her on arrival and she was still there 3 days later. Any idea what's up with her?

Possibly. If you look at the cowlings closely, you'll see 'Senai Airport' on it.

It often leaves KUL in the wee hours of the morning (circa 4am/5am). As of today, it was seen idling the whole day at the cargo bay.

Lucky you! Last time i saw a GE 321 in BKI was about 8 years ago... was a very "hardworking" spotter then :D

Have they completed the runway extension and taxiway extension at BKI yet?

Almost done, and I notice the contractor resurfaced the entire runway length, judging from fresh coat of concrete/asphalt I saw from inside the plane. I see some work going on at Runway 20 area for now.

By the way Waiping, you didn't catch the KA 320 back to HKG yesterday ? Massive delays at HKIA. Apparently the KA evening flight yesterday back to HKG was diverted to CAN and it's been more than 15 hours now and the plane is still stuck at CAN.
