ChrisJong 0 Report post Posted January 11, 2012 Hi Norman, Nice catch there! I'm a newbie when it comes to taking photos of planes. Can you provide some tips to taking good pictures? What type of lens would be most ideal? I currently own a Canon 7D with a EF 28-135mm len. Is that sufficient for a starter like me? Thanks for the help! flee 5 Report post Posted January 11, 2012 Welcome to Malaysian Wings CJMas! Your kit is OK for shooting in Anjung Tinjau but will not be enough for Sepang town! For photography tips, do visit the General Photography section of MWings!

Norman 1 Report post Posted January 13, 2012 Try use your existing lens first.. get the feel of spotting, when you feel you need the extra reach, then, make your selection.. Some of MWinger's Canon user are using 70-200mm f/2.8L /IS and some went for 100-400mm L... There are a few on the 75-300 & still have good results from it... Stefan 0 Report post Posted May 28, 2012 (edited) Thanks to info posted by Stefan in another thread, here's the Virgin Australia's aircraft operated for Etihad caught on 27/5/12 Charity, In response to your question in the other thread... Virgin Australia will operate EY418/419 every Sunday, This will reduce the idle time the aircraft has in Abu Dhabi between arriving from Sydney as VA29 on Saturday and departing to Sydney on Monday as VA30. Virign have 5 B777W's in their fleet 4 (VH-VPD, E, F & VOZ) are in the old V Australia livery (with Virgin Australia titles). VH-VPH is in the new Virgin Australia White scheme.
