A minor correction there:-

9M-EAJ is an RV-6A instead of RV-9, an experimental semi-aerobatics aircraft which belongs to Systematic Aviation Services (Mr Ismail Ashari is the owner of SAS). The first owner was Mr 'AJ', great aeroplane with glass cockpit, autopilot and GPS equipped.

Excellent job Norman, I was in Malacca on saturday but didn't know the event until yesterday........

I wished I was there too ....... :angry2:

Some really great (panning) shots, uncle Norman... :good:

Good to see they 'painted' the piano-keys as well as the centre-line on the grass runway there... :good:

Thanks for the kind words.... :)

The publicity was a bit lack for this event... even my Malacca-based friends didn't hear about it...

Something need to be done for the next event in 2013..

however I've posted about it in our information sub-forum

Thanks for the correction... always confused between these two... ;)

but EAJ had a minor mishap that day.. :(

Great GA pics! You don't need to pay landing fees in Malaysia right? Or so I heard.

Thanks Rob... No landing fee for flying club registered aircraft in all Malaysian airports nor they've to pay for ATC,

but I guess it's free landing to all aircraft too on unmanned airstrips ... I'm not sure about this.

Apart from the 1:1 scale models above, they do have some smaller scale with RC....

this RC blimp is from Indonesia

SRIAC-4739.jpg

and of course.... an ATR72-500... homebuilt

SRIAC-2791.jpg

however... this ATR crashed into the bush just after takeoff

It was spotted by paramotor flier some 6 hours later... and retrieved by SAR team

Thank you guys... :)

I think the EA300L's and Christen Eagle are privately owned, but they're sanctioned under MSAF,

most GA's registered themselves with MSAF... paramotors & RC fliers as well...

in fact MVPG (early local flightsim enthusiasts group) was present during the formation

of MSAF... unfortunately MVPG didn't get the official approval of forming the club by ROS..

so MVPG wasn't included ...
