MAS Joins oneworld!

Recommended Posts

MAS looks pissed again. Apparently they are aware that few photos have been leaked out few days earlier.

From the looks of it they are distributing a Memorandum to all staff to keep mum about OneWorld until 31 January 2013. <_>

Two mistakes I noted, Naz stated oneworld is the largest alliance in the world. Correction: It is Star Alliance. Secondly, MH is still confused on which logo to use. The all blue 'malaysiaairines' is used on the repainted A330 and B738 during the ceremony just now, but all marketing materials still have the red-blue wau.

Anyhow congratulation on the achievement, MH!! The wait is finally over!

MH 738's OW logo is too small notice while on the other hand Malaysia Airlines text has been changed to all Blue.

That is a brilliant proposition. I am convinced!

More evidence:

9M-MNE (with full livery and stickers) is now back at TLS in preparation for delivery. I think MND will go into the hangar for the oneworld treatment, once MNE arrives...

Whoever is in charge of branding at MAS really isn't doing a good job in my opinion. Sekejap biru, sekejap merah.. What's this man..

Blue livery is only for A380. The way it's going right now is all the Malaysia Airlines title will follow as on the their website. I guess A330 and 738 will spot swoosh with new font and red/blue tail.

So it looks like the "malaysia airlines" font and all bue colour from the A380 will now be used for oneworld liveried aircraft.
