If you know WHERE to sit - the Non-BSI 738's are far far far far far far far far far far superior to the BSI ones.

S V Choong 4 Report post Posted June 5, 2014 (edited) On 14th June? Which flight number? Checked on MHmobile both sectors are showing 800 series. Sorry not necessarily 14th June but I just did a check again. Trying to do a dummy booking for KUL-TWU on 19 Feb 2015 and returning 27 Feb 2015. Both MH2660/2661 and MH2664/2665 still showing B737-400. They could change the equipment closer to time. Edited June 5, 2014 by S V Choong

Yup, just checked on MHmobile KUL/TWU 20 Feb 2015 still showing B734 operating aircraft. So anyone can confirm that MH1165 PEN/KUL this Sat 14 Jun would be the last flight for B734 land in KLIA? flee 5 Report post Posted August 21, 2014 (edited) They are withdrawing the 777 because of the recent events? No - MH had planned to retire three B772s in 2014, phasing out the older frames. However, two of these are now "automatically retired". So they only need to retire one more. However, with the restructuring, the plans to retire aircraft may be reviewed again. We will have to wait till the end of the month for any further announcements. Even the MH Q2 financial results are delayed till 28 August! Johan Z 0 Report post Posted August 21, 2014 AI has been trying to unload their 777LR, maybe MH should look into them. From I understand, 777-200LR is economically better than 77E, especially on longer routes.
