Iggy, nice blue sky to bring out the almost plain white MH birds. :clapping:

Now with white fuselage, perhaps MH needs to bath their birds frequent. :nea:

Looks like our airport/runway contractor very good at their job, cutting cost... runway surface also peel making pothole like our roads <_>

Definately applies to the public roads - but note that it is closed for a day for repairs. Airports like WSSS are prone to such cases as well - because of the amount of rain we get. At least they are fixing it.. was at WBSB a month back and well... that place was in a sorry state of disrepair.. and recently went back to see no changes - the same problems... plus it wasn't even NOTAMed.

It was in use, threshold displaced to around Alpha 1 intersection, so about 400-500m of runway gone i think.. some night arrivals are 07 as they can't visually see the displaced area clearly at night. Pothole/roadwork still being done today with equipments on the runway itself. Localizer on runway 25 are for guidance only, before landing visually.

Runway 07 papi are reportedly unserviceable as some pilots reported all four white.. As per notam, papi on 25 were taken down for maintenance too.. whatever is going on with soo many things happening just on the runway itself. <_>

I remember SQ used to fly to KCH. What aircraft did they use? What led to the cancellation of this route?

If i'm not mistaken, they're using A310 for the SIN-KCH route; i'm not sure what's the reason of the cancellation of the route.

SQ's scheduled aircraft is the A310-300. Started on March 1991 and ended December 2001. During peak season (school holidays), it would be upgraded to A340-300E or B777-200.

Main reason for the cancellation is because SQ was not permitted to fly daily from the 2wice weekly service.
