However, one of the main difference is that airlines choose their own seat configuration. Therefore, they may plugged some windows for galley or toilet or other purpose. The area above the engines is actually emergency exit, the legroom are more (therefore less window) but seats are non-recline to aid movement should there be any emergency. i think the place where he mentioned is the place where the aircond riser ducts are located, in any 737 series it is common between BS500 to BS540 (just in front of center wing tank forward bulkhead) Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
