LaurieB 0 Report post Posted December 16, 2011 (edited) Hello all, Thanks to a contributor on a UK site I use I was pointed in the direction of this forum and the photos that KS had posted of our arrival in the Thomas Cook A330 on the 29th... anyway, I thought I would post some of the shots I took after we landed. Only had my small point-and-shoot, but managed to snatch a few shots... flew home with Air Asia in an A340 on their very comfy Premier seats, but got no pics at KL as the weather was hideous!!!! Andy My Flickr Pics Andy, a belated welcome to the forum. Good to see you here. Edited December 16, 2011 by LaurieB

KS Ong 1 Report post Posted December 18, 2011 Early morning at 8.00am...the giant is still sleeping in good light. Clouds started coming in towards mid morning. No more blue skies. Just before 12, she was cleared to depart. Kicking up a dust storm before rotating. Big fat momma, slowly climbing. When will we see you again???

RobK 0 Report post Posted December 20, 2011 (edited) Hi SZB spotters. A rather mundane request, but one that's been on my wanted list for a long time. RMAF flight "Mega 14" is currently enroute from somewhere across the S China Sea into Subang at FL260. Would anyone be able to get the M registration for me when it arrives at SZB in around 1-2 hours please? Think it's probably a C130 at that flt level. Hope someone can help! Thanks. MIR 2 Report post Posted December 23, 2011 (edited) Excellent shots, guys This ex-Armée de l'Air (French Air Force) Airbus A319-115(CJ) has been "hanging around" for a long time at SZB. I wonder what it is in for? Rumoured that it is now operated by TAG on behalf of Genting. Edited December 23, 2011 by MIR
Pieter C. 5 Report post Posted December 23, 2011 N104HK is heading to OAK to be scrapped.....so long 9M-MME! R.I.P! She flew OAK-MIA this week, so will be scrapped in Florida, not in California, I guess...
JuliusWong 0 Report post Posted December 24, 2011 She flew OAK-MIA this week, so will be scrapped in Florida, not in California, I guess... Thanks Pieter for the correction. I wonder why do they need to fly the aircraft halfway across the world; ended up scrapping it? hmm....Of course, I think MIA has the required facility to scrap aircraft safely.
