N888GY change owner?

a KCH regular visitor...

Thanks for the registration Nick.

FAA register shows owner as Wumac Inc of New Hampshire.

Wumac Inc seems to be a company set up to own/operate the aircraft.

I wonder if it is being leased to Airod.

Today was the first day the rainy weather cleared up. After lunch, I thought I would go along to SZB to try and catch FY's latest delivery, 9M-FYJ. I was not disappointed. Momments after I arrived, my target appeared right on cue!

Then, all hell broke loose! These two came and had shook up the place!

After recovering from the surprise, I managed to grab some shots:

Wherever the boys went, big mama was sure to follow:

What an afternoon of pleasant surprises!

Great catch Flee ! It would be at best if the weather is good.

Yes, the light was not so good but then cannot complain too much!

Later on TK and Sallehuddin came (after hearing the F/A-18F's roar) and the light improved. We managed to catch this:

Wow..great catch of the Hornets & Omega, Flee :good: Reported that there was another tanker in Malaysian airspace yesterday,a KC-10A(83-0082) from U-tapao, Thailand operating as 'Reach 91'

Any idea what were they doing there?

US Navy aircraft carrier, USS Carl Vinson is docked at Port Klang.

What's the registration of this one?

Just out of the paint shop?

I got it arriving at Airod on 29/12/2010 without the Airod sticker on its tail.

Just realised that the FYJ has got no SP Setia sticker on it. Wonder are they gonna stick some on it? Hope to get it before it has the sticker on .

Btw , the Omega Tanker is currently parked at Airod as at 2am

Wow.. Really rare catch there! Any idea what were they doing there?

Sorry, no idea why they are here. The F/A-18 Super Hornets are parked inside Airod's hangar while the Omega Tanker is on the apron outside Airod.

They might be flying ahead of their carrier (maybe from Guam or another US base) and joining them as they come round the straits of Melaka. With tensions in Egypt, the US Navy may be repositioning its assets to support possible missions over there.

Reported that the Omega Tanker and both Super Hornets were at Honolulu last Saturday.

As this evening, the tanker still at front Airod hangar. But I wonder why at Airod instated RMAF AFB?

I like your picture MdSaleh, friendly crew. Rarely able to capture military personal "behave politely" in front spotter.
