LaurieB 0 Report post Posted June 9, 2011 Many thanks for the heads-up. Managed to get down in time despite driving through very heavy rain in the Green Lane area. Weather at the airport was cloudy but dry. Spotted the B744 on approach at 14.20. it did a full-stop landing off that approach and then sat on the taxyway for about 25 minutes before starting the first session of touch & gos. KC Sim 2 Report post Posted June 9, 2011 Good News!!! The same Air Hongkong B744BCF is again headed to Penang tomorrow (10 June) departing Singapore at 1030hrs and returning to Singapore at 1730hrs. This means it is spending a longer time in Penang doing many touch-n-gos. Wish you better luck with weather and more chances to get good action shots. Since this video was uploaded in May 2011, I wish they had taken the additional trouble to update the MAS livery depicted - not doing so immediately makes the video dated. Rumoured that the ATR-72 might stop-over at Penang or Subang this week. I guess the delivery flight route could be Toulouse-Trabzon-AlAin-Ngapur-Penang-Kupang-Brisbane.
