BKI 2011

Recommended Posts

Today didn't manage to catch the FY because :-

1) Bad weather. Some seriously weird weather with strong wind this morning. Afternoon even stronger wind!

2) I forgot. :p

However managed to catch a glimpse of FY B734 landing around 4pm with runway 20 active.

Tomorrow maybe can catch since arrival @ 0910, just after another BI T7 took off back to BWN.

MXD: correct me if I'm wrong, but this is the APU air-inlet IMHO...

BI always rotate early.

Can't help, maybe they carrying less than 100 passengers who know hahaha

Same like the SQ B777 in KUL. These birds are made for 12+ hours flight, so for a short 1 hour flight the fuel load will be very low. With low weight comes early rotation. Passenger load will not be significant compared to the weight of fuel.

Pieter is right.

I saw a 4 turboprop engine plane parked at far end of T1, at gate A11 area. Anyone knows what aircraft is that? Also first time seeing 6 AKs parked at T2, along with a Fokker 100 and B727, all at once - quite a full house.

TH sent in B722 cause their B732Adv was overloaded...HanX's flight cancelled.

Looks like a P3 Orion. Super busy @ WBKK today, using RW20, TWY Golf & TWY Foxtrot closed, aircraft lining up in all kinds of direction, all kinds of aircraft queueing @ T2. Perdana2 is also here I think. :o

That would make it a Fokker F28 mk 4000 i.s.o. a Fokker 28 mk 100, right ? ;)

Looks like a P3 Orion.

Was it a US Navy P3 Orion? Theres high movements of US Navy a/c in this region at the moment as Exercise SEACAT 2011 is currently going on at South China Sea, Strait of Malacca, Sulu and Celebes Sea.
