Manila Ninoy Aquino Int'l Airport - RPLL

Recommended Posts

Hi Pieter,

Yes, I was in Manila and thanks to Kaneyoshi who gave me the name of a road, I was able to find my way to a nice spot.

Spotting in Manila is great fun and I do have quite a few images to share. But I could not find a "Spotting in Manila" thread ... or should I start one?

KC Sim

Dear all,

I start this thread because I known your guys someday will go to Manila Ninoy Aquino Int'l Airport - RPLL spotting.

Here some infor as I and my friend (Andy) when to Manila Ninoy Aquino Int'l Airport on March 2010, on that time they used 06 to landing. From the airport, if your guys take taxi and tell drive go to Multi National Avenue (due with taxi drive and pay only maximum 200 peso)

If they use 24 to landing your guy can go to Libingan mga Bayani:

and also your guys can take photoes from the roof Bar-8th floor Nichols Airport Hotel ( http://www.nicholsairporthotel-paranaque.com/ppc/ )

Thanks a lot for sharing the spotting points at 06 & 24 !!!

Is it safe to stay there (being a caucasian) ? any issues with the police ?

Would be interesting to pay a visit there for 1-2 days (esp. intested in that Zest "An-24" ;) )

I'll be heading to RPLL on 30th August, staying one night at the Marriott at the airport, before flying on the following afternoon to CYVR. I'm hoping to get a room with a good view of the movements, but I cannot find any reports on the hotel. Can anyone advise if runway views are possible?

Thanks

Steve

Like your "it's more fun in the Philippines" picture, esp. when you arrive/depart on that specific 777 :pardon:
