Malaysia-based friends, I don't remember whether I've posted yet, but it's now KUL for me as I've bought the airtickets already rolleyes.gif I'll need your assistance for spotting at Subang and Penang if KUL is too difficult!

Spotting for planes in Penang is not as good as spotting for food......especially seafood near the airport area....rolleyes.gif

KUL won the voting by 23 to 20 (for BKK), so the 6th MW Anniversary will be held at KUL...

Now all KUL members should give suggestions of what to do that weekend :pardon:

OK, guys, I've unlocked this topic again...

Please, put all your ideas here for the 6th MW Anniversary, like where to meet and spot, what activities you want after the spotting, etc.etc...

Also, maybe we can also make an attendance list and (for foreigners attending) a list where out-of-city members will stay...

Thanks, SRK for reminding... :pardon:

Side track a bit.

Any recommended place to stay around SZB if we go spotting there?

Check out Empire Hotel opposite Subang Parade. If the family is coming with you, they can hang out at the shopping malls while you go spotting!

Alternatively, budget conscious members can try out Tune Hotel at Kota Damansara. However, transport from that location is not as easy.

Keisuke & uncle Vu Loc (+ rest VNAS),

How about spotting SZB on 25jun and KLIA on 26jun ?

I had a think about it, but I really want to get the Uzbekistan 762 arriving 1045 on the Saturday as KUL is one of the few places I can get them.

I hope you can understand me

So if there is a rare airplane coming that day, its worth going to SZB, but my opinion would be to be in KUL for both days.

Thanks,

Regards, Keisuke

If the group is big enough, you can split into two and cover both KUL and SZB. Besides, a smaller group attract less attention from the bulis/security. You can all meet up for dinner at the end of each day to compare notes!

My 2 sen's worth...

Either way: KUL on 25jun and SZB on 26jun is fine with me too... :pardon:

We still have plenty of time to make a schedule/itinerary...

Guys, no need to vote anymore; KUL was selected over BKK already by 24/20 (it's 31/20 now  )...

Dear all,

We, VNAS, don't mind which days to which spotting locations as I'm sure that the "organizing committee" will arrange the most enjoyable event for all of us. Most important is to get acquainted with the fellow MW members. Second is arrangement for transport to these places, we are most grateful if our Malaysian friends can give non-local spotters a ride :good:

Guys, if you want durian cakes like last time at Changi, just let me know :drinks:
