Please check out the Subang spotting thread - it has some pix of Transmile aircraft. Raj 0 Report post Posted December 3, 2010 AN update for everyone on the forum. Transmile has sold all 4 MD-11's to Fedex hence why titles have been removed. Aircraft are being prep up for service. They will be ferried to SIN for a C check and on completion of that will head of to Fedex. I'm guessing they will be painted and registered in SIN. No dates and times just yet for ferry flights but I will post it up once I get more information.

flee 5 Report post Posted January 13, 2011 This news was only made public in the mainstream media this week. Now, EPF says it is happy! PETALING JAYA: The Employees Provident Fund (EPF) is keen for aircraft sale by troubled air cargo carrier Transmile Group Bhd to go through as quickly as possible. A source close to EPF told StarBiz yesterday that the fund was happy with Transmile's proposed aircraft sale involving four MD-11Fs for RM208.8mil to Federal Express Corp (FedEx) and would like the deal to be wrapped up swiftly to allow for outstanding debts to be repaid to Trasmile's creditors. Transmile presently owes over RM500mil to creditors in the form of convertible bonds and medium-term notes (MTN), with EPF being one of the MTN holders. The air cargo operator told Bursa Malaysia on Monday that one of the conditions for this sale to be completed by its wholly-owned unit Transmile Air Services Sdn Bhd (TAS) was the approval of TAS' creditors and the High Court “for the sale in the form satisfactory for the buyer by certain dates”.
