PRAGUSA.ONE plans KUL among other destinations

When we first reported on PRAGUSA.ONE, the company was intending to launch an airline that would serve a network of eight long-haul destinations from Prague and Dubrovnik. The plan was for these destinations to be:

New York (EWR), Tokyo (NRT), Beijing (PEK), Los Angeles (LAX), Singapore (SIN), Johannesburg (JNB), Chengdu (CTU), and Kuala Lumpur (KUL).

I wonder what happens to KL809/810 & if KL839/840 will still operate for the time being via SIN to complement the nonstop flights ?

Looks like it’s alternate day KL 801/2 and 809/10.
just check their schedules online...

Oh yes they have updated their website - good to know CGK flights will be back to KUL on some days albeit thrice weekly and HKT will be four weekly via KUL.

I also noticed that SIN will have both CGK and DPS tag-on for the time being effective 01NOV21

Wonder Air Seoul will be around after Asiana is fully merged into Hanjin Group's Korean Air Group? Among them there will be many duplicated routes and fleet.

  • Korean Air & Asiana - Full service short, mid and long haul
  • Jin Air, Air Seoul & Air Busan - Low cost service short and mid haul

At the same time they are competing with:

  1. Aero K - Low cost service short and mid haul -  Barely surviving
  2. Eastar Jet - Low cost service short and mid haul - Recently sold to new owner
  3. Fly Gangwon - Low cost service short and haul - Almost dead
  4. Jeju Air - Low cost service short and mid haul -  Strong competitor
  5. T'way Air - Low cost service short, mid & soon long haul - Strong competitor

YEs in the meantime, they have started SIN and BKK separately but not sure if those were/are cargo flights on GF165/166 and GF155/156. Oh well :)

As reported on Aeroroutes, TK will further increase their capacity to KUL.

Istanbul – Kuala Lumpur TK062/063 1 of 3 weekly 777-300ER replaces 787-9 (1 daily TK060/061 remains unchanged with 777-300ER)

Seems like there's a lot of demand for EU/TATL-MY traffic.

One of the rare instances of KUL getting more capacity than SIN :D

Istanbul – Singapore Increase from 7 to 10 weekly unchanged, TK208/209 operates 3 weekly with 787-9. TK054/055 1 of 7 weekly 787-9 replaces 777-300ER

Cautious return using smaller aircraft. I wonder if they are still going to continue with the AMS-SIN-KUL service?
