Tale note when fltying Shaheen Air. Their main core passengers are masses who want dirt cheap fares minus frills. You might want to pack your iPad or Tab.

Their A332 comes with 326 all economy seats without IFE. All PTV are stripped out at KLM Engineering before delivery. On their FB wall, you may read some comments about the lack of entertaining between LHE- BHX 7 hours route.

They also plan to operate flights to Copenhagen, Oslo, Milan, Shanghai, and Bangkok in the near future.

Cikgu,

Have you ever considered it viable to travel Korea-Kuching vv transiting at BKI instead ?

ICN-BKI seem quite frequent, but BKI-KCH vv is probably the deal breaker :)

Apparently Song Joong Ji, the new spoke person for Jeju Air is revealing that BKI will be served by 7C come July...that's a staggering 3 airlines from Korea flying to BKI!

Actually with the addition of Jeju Air, there will be 4 Korean airlines (Asiana Airlines, Eastar Jet, Jin Air and soon Jeju Air) serving ICN-BKI. Asiana Airlines have been flying daily between ICN-BKI for many years now. Eastar Jet usually operates 4 flights a week but flight is increased to daily during peak season. And Jin Air is flying to BKI on a daily basis now too.

I would but all of them fly narrow-body and LCC are not really comfortable to fly in...

But, that's just me...

I still remember the time in the late 1970s when I flew TG from LHR-KUL in a Super DC8. Long journey with many stops... and a 10 hour stopover in BKK! Fortunately, the BKK-KUL leg was done in the A300!

Asiana Airlines A321-200 fitted with AVOD comes with an average of 33" of seat pitch in Y and they are very comfortable.

Probably too early, but if materialises, hope it will be sustainable in the long term...

THAI allows Thai Smile to seek new routes through out the region. At this stage, Thai Smile is lining up Nakhon Si Thammarat in Thailand, Danang in Vietnam, Kota Kinabalu in East Malaysia, and Surabaya and Medan in Indonesia.

cool indeed, albeit only from 20/7/16 to 28/8/16.Demand so good? Summer peak travelling time I presume.

Yes. Normally Asiana Airlines will have extra flights or have some flights upgraded to an A330-300X throughout July and August. There normally are chartered flights from Busan during July and August too.

Per RoutesOnline, CI will up gauge its daily TPE-KUL from A343 to B744 for NW16/17 (extending its B744 run from NS16). 2 other carriers (and soon OD) flies KUL-TPE with once a day flight, but CI takes the prize for highest capacity (MH 738, BR mix of A332/A321 and soon OD with B739).

Noticed that when I went to select my seats for TPE-KUL for this Dec. Can't seem to select the upper deck or the nose, tho

On a side note, does anyone know if CI gives out amenity kits on TPE-KUL? And how is the seat on the 744? Better than JL's 787 on LAX-KIX?
