But we do get the A346, which is a treat to avgeeks and spotters!

I'm sure many non-avgeeks in QR's A346 Y cabin also appreciate the very much more generous leg room there, as compared to the newer sardine cans in their fleet :)

Jeju Air from December 2018 is adding 2 additional international routes from Muan, including service to The Philippines and Malaysia. Planned service includes the following.

So we will have Jeju Air flying in from Seoul and 'Muan', but not Jeju :D

Royal Brunei from late-December 2018 is resuming Bandar Seri Begawan – Kuching route, previously served until July 2011. From 28DEC18, Airbus A320 aircraft will initially operate this route twice weekly, increasing to 4 weekly from 03FEB19.

Should they even bother with a hotel ? Probably won't even leave airside and just loiter there for the few hours :)

Would the lounges at KCH be available at those hours of the day ?

Shenzhen Airlines from March 2019 plans to offer new route to Malaysia, with the new Shenzhen – Penang nonstop flight. Effective from 01MAR19, Boeing 737-800 aircraft will operate this route on daily basis.

Pakistan International Airlines in late-December 2018 added new routing to Bangkok and Kuala Lumpur, operating from Lahore. Planned operation as follows.

Citilink schedules Surabaya – Kuala Lumpur service in late-Jan 2019

 

Indonesia carrier Citilink recently announced planned service expansion to Malaysia, with the offering of Surabaya – Kuala Lumpur service. From 30JAN19, Airbus A320 aircraft will operate this route once a day, in addition to existing Banyuwangi – Kuala Lumpur route.

Did not know they flew to KUL in the past. Tech stop somewhere?

And hopefully they can sustain it. Since Etihad reduced their flights to KUL not much choice left for Malaysian living there to go back as Emirates (and Etihad) complex pricing often makes it cheaper to fly from somewhere else rather than their home base (AUH and DXB)
