VA Air in Summer 2015 season is adjusting capacity to Malaysia, which sees Airbus A321 aircraft operating on Taipei Taoyuan – Kuala Lumpur route, instead of A330-200, during following periods.

29APR15 – 30MAY15 Day x47

03JUN15 – 12JUN15 Day 35

17JUN15 – 01AUG15 Day x47

04AUG15 – 10AUG15 Day x347

11AUG15 – 22AUG15 Day x147

23AUG15 – 31AUG15 Day x47

02SEP15 – 16SEP15 Day 35

18SEP15 – 21OCT15 Day x47

BR227 TPE0940 – 1415KUL EQV D

BR228 KUL1520 – 2010TPE EQV D

I'm a victim of one of the new BR227/228 changes - from 332 to 321. It's okay though. Stuff like this happens. They could've swapped it for a Twin otter stopping in Kaohsiung, Manila, Cebu, Davao, Kota Kinabalu, Miri, Singapore and Melaka and THEN i'd get upset....

Hahas!! You may need to leave your luggage behind....and ask you to go on the weighing scale to avoid 'overweight' overload issue.

Who care anyway...better fly CX...

I care ;)

BR is an important link when trying to get to the US on a *A carrier. Love their J product too. Well, not so much the A321's but still better than dropping KUL altogether.

Wow, traffic from Taiwan and China is still not recovering huh...

Wow!! They flew two jumbos then?

I guess there is huge capacity these days with CI offering a daily A343/A330, D7 twice daily A330, BR a daily A332/A321 and MH twice daily B738. Perhaps over capacity? I haven't flown BR before but from family and friends who have recently flown with them, they seem to think that BR has a better product than CX. I will try them someday, to JFK.

Yes, indeed a bit overcapacity, but demand is there. Malaysians like to go to Taiwan...for food, scenery and business. That explains why we have so many Taiwan inspired restaurants here in KL. Also note everytime AirAsia X is having sales, Hong Kong and Taiwan will always sold out first.

Eva Air is definitely the upcoming new star in Asia. They have invested millions in both hard and soft products enhancement and fleet revitalisation. Their admission into Star Alliance is a testament of their hard work and excellence in service delivery. They are looking at buying B787, A330neos and A350...:)

The BR A321s called regularly at KUL in 2014. So it looks like this is now becoming a permanent feature in 2015.

You mean CI or CX? CX flies to TPE via one stop in HKG, while CI operates direct KUL - TPE.

Shame KUL is down to 2 daily, though I heard TG isn't doing well on the route anyway. This will make connections beyond BKK even harder.

My last A300 flight was on TG420 back in 2013 :)

Happy for them. Flown them once, and it was pleasant - visited the flight deck before takeoff and after landing with the all female flight deck crew, and sat next to the engineer who accompanied the aircraft and he was telling me stories also. Had fun on that 757! But cukuplah sekali :p

cukuplah sekali? is it because of other pax or the 757 conditions? :)

hope RA will deploy their new A320 to KUL soon ;)

I would still wanna see them continue flying their 757 as long as they could. A320 is everywhere.
