Pretty much anyone can edit a wiki page.

If it's mentioned in wiki but not in any official announcements, I won't get too excited about this.

Just like months ago in the BKI wiki page saying that MH will resume direct service to SIN, but couldn't find any source whatsoever. That little info on the page quickly edited out.

Iran's Aseman Airlines launches new Tehran-Kuala Lumpur flight

Maiden flight of Aseman Airlines landed in Kuala Lumpur International Airport on Friday with its 240 seats fully occupied.

Iran's Aseman Airlines will have two direct Tehran- Kuala Lumpur flights on Mondays and Thursdays, which depart Kuala Lumpur for Tehran respectively on Tuesdays and Fridays.

Launching of these two flights increased the Iranian airlines weekly flights to Kuala Lumpur to six, and the passenger capacity of Iran Air, Mahan Air and Aseman airlines up to 660 seats each way.

An Iranian tourism agency is the cosponsor of Aseman Airlines new Tehran- Kuala Lumpur flights.

The flight is using an Airbus A340 that has 34 first class, 35 business class and 171 economy seats.

The launching of this new flight can boost the healthy competition among the three Iranian airlines that present it and therefore, the greater satisfaction of their passengers, especially the university students that comprise the major portion of those passengers.

Their A330 is good. They used to fly their 757 here is crap. Good to see them back.

Yes, A330 is more modern... I am sure that they want to capitalise on MH's misfortunes...

Yeah, I guess the plunge in traffic to KUL from PEK is now stabilising more.. And there is probably local demand but they won't want to fly MH

Now that travel agencies is asking the government to consider for visa free entry for Mainland Chinese to Malaysia, hopefully MH can reinstate its second daily flight soon. However, I hope the government is careful in making their destination, unless we want to end up as prostitution hub.

Before the QZ8501 crash, D7 were reporting good loads.

Not sure what is happening now that the Airasia brand has been tarnished. I suppose mainland Chinese need an alternative airline for their travels to Malaysia.
