BC Tam 2 Report post Posted August 2, 2011 So from threat of suspension, there is now this upgrade (capacity wise at least) from 738 to 333 Wonder what happened ? Is the codeshare on MH's metal maintained ?
Leong Chuo Sheng 0 Report post Posted August 2, 2011 So from threat of suspension, there is now this upgrade (capacity wise at least) from 738 to 333 Wonder what happened ? Is the codeshare on MH's metal maintained ? Hi BC, KE actually stopped operating to BKI early this year (IIRC) with their own metal. Now, KE is resuming ICN-BKI vv. with their own metal from Dec 4 onwards. For now, the A333 seems to be scheduled for Dec/Jan/Feb. 738 is penciled in for late March (but still unconfirmed) as demand lessens over that period. Demand for ICN-BKI vv. in terms of booking levels look OK for A333 for now The codeshare with MH still remains on their BKI-ICN vv. flights.
Jim Liu 0 Report post Posted August 2, 2011 So from threat of suspension, there is now this upgrade (capacity wise at least) from 738 to 333 Wonder what happened ? Is the codeshare on MH's metal maintained ? KE in S10 operated 738 on ICN BKI, and switched to 333 in W10/11 (Which then converted to seasonal service in 2011). W11/12 season is currently showing 333 but it's a default schedule (KE simply loads what was in W10 for W11). Nothing is set in stone yet until they start changing their W11/12 schedule probably around late-August.
BC Tam 2 Report post Posted August 2, 2011 Thanks for those insights Impression I get is that OZ is much more consistent in her offerings on ICN-BKI vv compared to KE

Jim Liu 0 Report post Posted August 9, 2011 So tickets are fully refunded then? When airlines cancel the flights they will fully refund the fare. KUL from 30OCT11 to 31DEC11 is to be operated by 747-400, then switching to 777-300ER from 01JAN12.

BI used to fly to KUL (SZB) on a daily basis in the 90s. Hopefully it will soon become daily again. Both the Taiwanese carriers are usually cheaper than MAS. Uzbekistan Airways change in capacity http://airlineroute.net/2011/08/26/hy-w11/ Has anyone here flown with HY before ?
