Tony 1 Report post Posted April 24, 2010 Yeah..the scanner will scan packages based on the routing codes & also measure the package dimension.. Ooo... so oversize packages will be directed to a separate chute?
aaronhiew 0 Report post Posted April 24, 2010 Yeah, understand And what does panda do but prance around and eat and sleep ?! BC : Sir Sultan even has to fly the plane himself sometimes. Sir Sultan has licensed to fly?
Fahiruz 0 Report post Posted April 24, 2010 Ooo... so oversize packages will be directed to a separate chute? Not really..its more for Dim.Weight measurement.. FYI, chargeable weight for every package is determined either Actual Weight or Dim/Volumetric Weight, whichever is greater. On the oversize package, we can handle standard package of not more than 330cm (Length + Girth) / Girth= 2 X (Width+Height) Anything bigger will normally handled by our Freight Hub in TPE instead Wow, the whole plane for the Panda? Even Sultan of Brunei doesn't travel that way. Actually, 2 pandas and one ULD as the flight routing was IAD-ATL-CTU. The 2 giant pandas, Tai Shan from Washington Smithsonian Zoo & Mei Lan from Atlanta Zoo was returned back to China as part of the giant panda breeding progam Wow, the whole plane for the Panda? Tony 1 Report post Posted April 24, 2010 Fair enough. Guess that's a stupid question after all, cuz we wouldn't put oversized shipments on the belt anyway. Thanks for the info though.
