Radzi 2 Report post Posted July 11, 2012 It's also seamless from KUL to PEN. Hope there'll be a v-radar in TGG soon. That could cater for the BKK-SIN and KUL-Far East routes.
flee 5 Report post Posted July 11, 2012 I think it would be ideal if there was something in Samui too. Cos there is a big hole in the Gulf of Thailand.
Naim 6 Report post Posted July 11, 2012 That could cater for the BKK-SIN and KUL-Far East routes. With a well-placed, normal antenna, signals from up to 300km can be received. With the sea being flat, can expect quiet a good coverage of the South China Sea from a TGG v-radar.
Keith Ng 0 Report post Posted July 11, 2012 Really curious on the location of this T-F4V antenna. Can detect traffic in Malaysia and even in Taiwan!
Naim 6 Report post Posted July 11, 2012 Really curious on the location of this T-F4V antenna. Can detect traffic in Malaysia and even in Taiwan! Seems to be a network of receivers with this common label -- see here for more: http://forum.flightradar24.com/threads/3851-New-Feeder-Spotted
flee 5 Report post Posted July 11, 2012 That may be the original code for the device. It changes to the proper airport code after one or two updates. I have seen NET-1 appear in a few places too.
Naim 6 Report post Posted July 11, 2012 NET-1 is for ppl using Planeplotter, wherever they are. Only ppl using FR24 feed software get the airport code. One person can register for more than one code, provided using different emails. I know 2 Penang codes belonging to same person.
Alan F. 0 Report post Posted July 12, 2012 We have WMKK5 now! We also have seamless coverage with WSSS1 handing over to WMKK2. WMKK-5 is actually the original WMKK. Was using old feeder software which for some reason FR24 wanted to upgrade and at the same time was given the new WMKK-5 code.

Kenneth Chong 0 Report post Posted July 16, 2012 1. Any PC good enough to run Win XP and Win 7. 2. adsbScope is bundled in the CD -- sufficiently good enough for me. You can buy Planeplotter, which has better graphics and features. 3. Win XP and Win 7. 4. I notice little delay between live graphics on adsbScope and FR24. is there any software for microadsb that can run under android environment?
Naim 6 Report post Posted July 16, 2012 is there any software for microadsb that can run under android environment? don't think so, microadsb only works on win xp and win7.
Naim 6 Report post Posted July 16, 2012 FR24 has a new feature -- Aircraft View (beta) -- see below, tracking BTV893 (PK-YVI) which is fed by WMSA2 (see v-radar in window on the right) - click for bigger image. Quite nice.

Naim 6 Report post Posted July 17, 2012 Tried viewing an AWQ on final runway 22 wmkp. When landed, it wandering like headless chicken kchong Hahaha, even when cruising sometimes plane jerks left and right, due to intermittent coordinate glitches. So they should create a smart filter to remove such sudden movements.

Waiping 12 Report post Posted July 18, 2012 I guess the next step should be to have a appropriate silhouette of the aircraft. Currently everything is represented by the B737.
