Didn't knew that MKR is set to be transferred to Brussels Airlines.

I think it was mentioned at the time MH ordered the A333s. They are returning the leased planes and MKR is one of them. This plane first flew in 1995 and is returned to ILFC who has now found a new customer for it.

This isn't really SZB but I know it departed from there so I guess it should be in this thread. Caught this from my house quite some time ago. Finally dug it out from my file and decided to upload it here. Definitely not the best shot of this bird but something to keep this thread going again.

Hi Guys,

Did not know this forum exist until I met few of the members spotting in SZB, namely En. Norman :drinks: unfortunate MKR was nowhere to be seen till during that time.

Just to post one shot that I did while waiting.

This is Firefly ATR 72-500 Registration : 9M - FYA its the first ATR that arrived in August 2008. I happened to be on board the proving flight prior to first revenue flight back then. This aircraft has undergo one "C"check few months back.

BTW : I was looking for the intro section, but can't find it.

Affnan, does it has a banner on the fuselage? Looks like there is something more then only Firefly titles.

Yes they do advertising now.., that's the Setia Group banner.. and inside of the aircraft is full of setia group stickers too..

Here another pic.

Some shots from the 'potato' camera. I must say once you are used to SLR, having a 'potato' for spotting is wierd.

First, you tend to bring it closer to your eye but later got to know it is on live view and no view finder.

Second, you tend to manual adjust the zoom.

Third, why my camera is so so light?.

Here are some shots under low light conditions.

Though SLR is the prefered choice, at the end of the day, a camera in hand is better than no camera at all. :p

Thanks buddy! I think I saw it flying over my house earlier. Thats why I suddenly thought of it as that plane had a red undercarriage.
