Chaity 1 Report post Posted October 26, 2010 (edited) "Air India One" expected to arrive from Tokyo tomorrow(26/10) around 1930hrs and will depart to Hanoi on 28/10 around 1700hrs MIR, thanks for the info. The aircraft for AI 0001 is AI B744 VT-ESO. Thanks to Japanese spotters for the info. Info in KLIA website is up this morning for arrival. AI 0001 26/10/2010 0:07:15:00 PM Judging from the current hazy and rainy evenings, perhaps ISO 1600 and above setting needed to catch her arrival. Maybe the departure on 28/10 is more promising provided rwy 32R is used for departure. Just a side note, saw GF280 operated by A9C-KB A330-200 F1 livery (26/10) from the radar. Radzi 2 Report post Posted October 28, 2010 Hon Kit, where did you catch that C130 ? Somewhere near LCCT ? Standard parking bay for RAAF (and other visiting military equipments). Remote bay next to B10 of MTB, just behing the MAB office. The spot is visible from the roadside just before you enter the departure level of MTB.
Chaity 1 Report post Posted October 28, 2010 On the ramp towards the departure terminal of KLIA. I think its the RAAF . It park near the white 74F. OK, thanks for the info. BTW, I think that is RAF's C130 and not RAAF. RAAF BBJ due next week as informed by MIR.
S M Tang 0 Report post Posted October 28, 2010 Is there any explanation why military planes land in KUL instead of SZB since SZB is home to the TUDM as well. Any reasons or it's just a matter of preference/handling facilities?

Also have you seen Lion Air flying to KUL while you've been spotting? Thanks guys for your replies. Raj, plenty of CZ flights but code share-lah. Sorry, can't help it as a lot of CZ code share numbers in KUL website. I haven't see any CZ's new noon flight yet. Sad to say Lion Air stopped flying to KUL long time ago.
