KS Ong 1 Report post Posted January 3, 2010 Ong, any chance to "kautim" with the pak guard just stand at end of 32L for spotting as long the pak guard able to see spotter?? Can try. Maybe with some 'kopi'. However, just a word of caution...The bulis/MAB are still patroling the closed area. Saw two trucks went by the pak guard. From the pak guard 'house' you still can get a 'decent' shot. Just that you need a longer tele lense.

Sandeep G 1 Report post Posted January 3, 2010 I'd like to see the inside of -XXE.. isn't it the bird with the new/updated interior offerings? Shame about the security... anyone got any friends at MAS AE? The rooftops of the Hangar would be somewhat sweet for photos!
Waiping 12 Report post Posted January 4, 2010 Darn! Need to bring bazooka! With this kind of distance it will be more susceptible to heat haze, no?
flee 5 Report post Posted January 4, 2010 I'd like to see the inside of -XXE.. isn't it the bird with the new/updated interior offerings? Nope it was delivered with the old seats and it is now being refitted with the new seats. D7 will probably make a big hoo hah when this plane is ready for service - so dun worry, you will see the new interior when they have finished the work! Radzi 2 Report post Posted February 10, 2010 Currently runwei 14 in used ! hopefully it last till tomorrow. Sorry for being a bit O/T: That night runway 14 was used NOT due to the wind. As usual 32L was used for landing. Runway turnoff C6 was closed due WIP. An aircraft (heard it was an A330) mistakenly exit via C6 and had to stop and consequently towed out. Runway 32L had to be closed. Since 32R was not available for landing due WIP at the A11 / A10 end, no choice but to use 14L for landing.
