Chris Tan 0 Report post Posted December 25, 2014 (edited) The EK SIN-CMB-SIN is a bit weird isn't it? Or am I missing something? The full routing is DXB-CMB-SIN. Nothing new here. I'd say a more "weird" one would be CX's HKG-SIN-CMB as it's less direct, though I'm not sure if it's still operating. Mohd Azizul Ramli 2 Report post Posted December 25, 2014 I believe TK doesn't have 5th freedom rights between SIN and CGK, unless something has changed. It's also ending some time in 2015 as CGK will be a non-stop destination. Ok. Edited. Thanks Chris. The EK SIN-CMB-SIN is a bit weird isn't it? Or am I missing something? That flight is part of a very long journey, DXB-CMB-SIN-BNE/MEL vv. I attached here the route map. Maybe an EK expert can help to break out the flights so that we can get the correct pairs. Suzanne Goh 0 Report post Posted May 16, 2015 (edited) The flight will be now be reversed where MCT-KUL will continue onwards to SIN, and v.v. Currently it's an early morning KUL-SIN (connecting to a mid morning SIN-MCT) and a Late night SIN-KUL (connecting from midmorning MCT-SIN that arrives in SIN in the evening) because KUL is the terminus. Are the timings of the long haul flights themselves changing and therefore impacting the KUL-SIN shuttle? (was looking online and haven't seen it change on any GDS yet) If SIN is now the terminus - what time will the new KUL-SIN-KUL shuttle be? It's useful now if you want to do a WY only full work day trip to SIN (from KUL) Edited May 16, 2015 by Suzanne Goh

It's useful now if you want to do a WY only full work day trip to SIN (from KUL) The current timings from KUL to SIN will be reversed where KUL will depart SIN at night and SIN will depart for KUL in early morning. This will allow KUL to depart at 0945hrs and arrive MCT around 1215hrs, just nice to connect European points and JED. Return from MCT will be 0900hrs arriving KUL after 2000hrs, which will allow good connectivity fro. Europe to KUL. The timing is bad for Malaysians traveling to SIN, but is excellent option for Those planning a trip to Europe. Schedules will be loaded by next week. Then they will book SQ flights back. Fare is good for companies though who do not use low cost airlines.
