KC Sim 2 Report post Posted August 12, 2009 (edited) Hi all, I stumbled upon a picture on a.net uploaded by Radek Grochowski from Poland . . . and this is his only picture on A.net!!! http://www.airliners.net/photo/Volga-Dnepr-Airlines/Antonov-An-124-100-Ruslan/1531874/L/ To me, it is absolutely pure art and poetry all in one. In such weather, it is amazing that the photographer is even there to photograph it! And then for the shot to be accepted by Airliners.net without being rejected for bad centre (which it easily could be been labelled)or bad something else. And that lone tree completes the picture. This looks like a piece of Chinese san-shui painting. Just wanted to share it with you. KC Sim Edited August 12, 2009 by KC Sim
Ignatius 4 Report post Posted August 12, 2009 Absolutely stunning piece of art and photography.. We should see more of these shots than the normal classical by the book kind of aviation photography which is getting very dull as we stroll along a.net these days

flee 5 Report post Posted August 13, 2009 Yes normally this sort of atmospheric and arty photo is reserved for objects of natural beauty, not a made made object like the Antonov! Excellent monochromatic pix!
