MH1388 and MH1389 were the last flights for him to KBR by Boeing 737-400. I want to congratulate Khaled because 'dinaikkan pangkat' to Airbus 330-300.. Thanks! and CONGRATULATION! I'm going to have to unlearn the boeing and relearn the airbus way of flying. Just like how I unlearn Windows and relearn MAC, hehehe... Nabiel, Thank u to u too for the pictures! It's not traumatic, but yes, it is pretty horrible, as I was expecting a B772 (based on MH's pdf timetable). A lot of fellow passengers went like, "This is the aircraft? Is there some last minute replacement?" But it wasn't. It was scheduled as it is. The experience made me realised how dreadful MH's A333s are for flights of more than 3 hours. Having to watch the blurry IFE on overhead projector slide at the front of the cabin for 9.5 hours was not justified the amount of fares paid for the ticket.
