Well, while i was in perth the weather wasnt soo friendly with me, and when it was sunny the other day, I went to catch a C17 but it left few good minutes ahead of me.. well.. maybe next time.. wasnt so into spotting lately hahaha.. :rolleyes:

Way to go, MIR!!! First, the wingletted NZ 767 and now the Garuda PK-GMA new colour in such stunning light some more. :good:

 

Keep us update on the specials passing thru PER. Hopefully I will make a visit to PER again not too distant in the future.

OZjet had suspended operations in May 2009. The remaining three OZjets are now parked at the new apron near Bay50, YPPH.

Shame rego has changed to N from VH :sorry:

i THOUGHT OZJET was to get 737-300's in a copy of AA that those 732 were suppose to get convert for cargo and fly for Heavylift <_<

 

If go to BNE you always still see a 727-51 of Heavylift take off

Tuesday 4th August 2009

 

Air Charter Express DC-8:62AF 9G-AED c/n 46162 arrived ex: Melbourne

at 11.50hrs as flight 'ACE803'horse charter. (1st visit to Perth)

 

The weather was fine although a fire to the north west of the airport

was blowing plumes of smoke into this area, thus the two approach shots

are a bit smokey, and the last 3/4 rear shot passing has nice blue sky.
