Norman 1 Report post Posted January 4, 2010 I smell another crazy trip for me. OT: Hehehe... I've check these flights... KUL-SIN-KUL tho', not BKI 3K = RM139.00 AK = RM163.00 TR = RM251.00 FY = RM304.90 MH = RM414.00 MI = RM590.00 all day return on 26th June.. sorry OT...::
flee 5 Report post Posted January 4, 2010 Sounds great: what do other MW members think of it ? Depends on the dates as I will be in TPE in early June. If the MW anniversary spotting sessions are held in SIN, it will be history and also prove that the hostile conditions in KUL have taken its toll on the hobby. Never want to miss a spotting in SIN-city. Suggest we move "table" this motion at the Changi spotting thread instead.

Any other Malaysian cities 'available' where spotting is still possible ? How about BKI ? Otherwise, SIN would be fine with both Mai and me...
flee 5 Report post Posted January 5, 2010 SIN has great traffic and I suspect no one minds going to SIN while waiting for hostilities to cease in KUL!

Samuel Chy 0 Report post Posted January 5, 2010 Any other Malaysian cities 'available' where spotting is still possible ? How about BKI ? ... lol... then we will proudly break the record of less than 10 ppl in the gathering! thrust me.
Waiping 12 Report post Posted January 6, 2010 Actually I think location for spotting at BKI has also been reduced due to the construction work. Traffic wise it is better to go SIN unless you want spot Twin Otters.

Tamizi Hj Tamby 1 Report post Posted January 7, 2010 MYY is a much better place for DHT's... I do agree with you,Uncle Pieter;MYY is the home base for the DHTs in East Malaysia.Back in 2007,there were at least one Twin Otter flight at SBW (SBW-MKM-SBW),but MASwings terminated the flight
Pieter C. 5 Report post Posted January 7, 2010 Mizi, Too bad; 2 years ago, I flew MYY-MKM-KCH on the DHT, although heavily delayed - LeeTZ can attest this... Pictures should be here somewhere on MW (Flight Logbook)...
