Thanks Louis. I never expected to catch it as its entry into service was only the following day. Heard from folks there that it will be used for some KBR and PEN sectors, so it will be a regular at WMKC from now on.

First of all, I can't locate a thread dedicated to spotting at KBR, so I'm creating a new one here. If it does exist, I don't mind the moderator merge this thread with the original one.

Presenting photos taken on the second day of Ramadhan fasting (2 Sept 08). These were taken immediately after my arrival from SZB on Firefly's fresh from the shop ATR72.

This is what makes KBR's traffic active and interesting

Not so fast Firefly, let me land first, or better still, do a touch and go

Fitri,

Nice pics.

Which side of KBR airport (spotting location) ?

Next to terminal, opposite the public parking. Very convenient location, especially for morning spotting. I believe its a location that won't bring the Beredar Team. And no need ladder too (unless you're too short) ;)

A normal day at school for these guys/girls

kbr11.jpg

Even vertical lift aircraft had to wait for their turns

kbr12.jpg

Another touch and go. Actually, it was more of touch, minor braking, throttle again, rotate, glide up

kbr13.jpg

Finally MHS turn

I never realize it's Tahun Melawat Kelantan 2008.

Excellent sharp-sharp photos...

From my knowledge it is at least :

Tahun Melawat Kelantan 2008

Tahun Melawat Kedah 2008

Tahun Melawat Terengganu 2008

[Tahun Melawat XXX 2008 = Visit XXX Year 2008]

As for me personally, 2008 is Tahun Melawat Sarawak and Brunei ;)

Waa..HM Aerospace still flying a day before raya! Looks like the Diamond is struggling a bit with X-winds. Nice close-up of the Super Puma! Thanks for sharing, sufri !
