Lock SH 0 Report post Posted April 24, 2013 Too bad ........ short of budget and participant perhaps?........ I remember during the era of former DG of DCA, Tan Sri Ir Zaini in late 90s, things were different. He himself, together with his former wingman, ex-Director of Flt Ops DCA, Capt Syed Zainal, continuously organised 'Fly In' events around the country on yearly basis with participation from Indonesia, Thailand and as far as OZ. They have a dedicated team, volunteers from flying clubs, parajump clubs, paragliders, aero modelling clubs (to mention a few) who were more than happy to perform for free just to promote aviation in Malaysia. Those were the days to be remembered............

S M Tang 0 Report post Posted May 3, 2013 APFT's fleet of Warrior III's are the NK series. As far as I know they've got NKA up to NKK with NKI missing. So that could be it.

Yeah but I wont think APFT would sacrifice its factory-fresh Warrior III Piper to make a monument.. May be from few old NR*-series and when I say old, I mean like really really old... Mushrif A 3 Report post Posted June 25, 2013 Sultan flying in, the ride must be widebody Very much so, as he has used the 343 to KBR before. Not sure if KBR can handle the 744. Btw, the Sultan has used a narrow-body before - to IPH using BI's 320 for dinner at the palace.
Syukri 0 Report post Posted June 25, 2013 With the current runway length of 2400m, maybe minimum weight 747 can make it.. Of course they cant use the parallel taxiway though..

S M Tang 0 Report post Posted October 23, 2013 Demo for prospective buyer? No idea but it was N-registered (reg hidden below the engines and couldn't really see it). A quick search on A.net shows quite a number of Legacy 600s sporting this livery with registrations from all over the world.
MIR 2 Report post Posted October 23, 2013 There is one Legacy 600 in the same c/s as above that has been flying in and out of SZB, N600YC. That guy in the brown pants looks like Dato Sri JJ.
