Quite some x-wind ?

Right wing seems to be a lot more 'lowered' than the left one... :pardon:

I speculate it is to visit the Sultan of Kelantan at the hospital.

The landing must be fun, not unlike a 734 landing on a wet IPH runway. Really fun.

The description by that Kelvin on his facebook entry stated that this is the A340-8000. I dont think so. There was one A340-8000 which was ordered by Brunei (not this particular V8-BKH) and was parked for many years in Germany. Now, finally, it is flying under a saudi reg.

Confirmed. HM Sultan, his two wives, brother and 2 sisters in laws visiting Sultan Kelantan in Kubang Kerian.

Checked further, and it was just one sister-in-law (wife of third brother), one sister and a brother-in-law.

I wondered why the smaller 762 wasn't used for the trip. I then realised that it may have been used by another brother to Damascus for an OIC meeting.

(Too bad IPH would have been too much for either widebody, that - somehow - not even Lufthansa's pilots (they do most of the flying) could manage landing there - and the Brunei entourage had to resort to a commercial BI 320, some months back).

Affirm..Prince Mohamed Bolkiah used the B762 (V8-MHB) to Damascus and yesterday to Hanoi.
