Plane comes to a stop at the end of the runway
Wai Hung replied to Desmond C's topic in General Aviation
Read the above posts. Someone has mentioned that the aircraft experienced a single engine failure. The captain didnt want to take the risk, so he requested for a tow truck. -

then they shoud have put emphasis on the single engine failure instead of the 'aircraft have to be towed after landing'. -

didn't expect that from SQ, really. my aunt travels on SQ very often and she tells me that their service is one of the best in the airline industry. wonder who is that officer, he should be dismissed asap, or else it will bring more damage to the airline's image.

Yeah I agree with you. I'm submitting my application online tomorrow. I need to finalize and check through my resume first to ensure that everything is in order. Wish me luck

they are called fuse pins. the fuse pins are designed to break apart to release the engine from the wing if the wing experiences a strong flutter. in the el al cargo flight, the fuse pins were not maintained properly and one of them has already broke apart.
-
sounds like a similar problem in the El Al cargo flight which crashed in amsterdam

is it just me, or is the livery similar to boeing's dreamliner? notice the blue curves at the head and tail.

i have a question to those who applied, its stated that one needs at least a degree or STPM, what is your level then? STPM? Degree? (If degree, in what field?)

MAS flight forced to return to Hong Kong
Wai Hung replied to miroslav zinoviy's topic in General Aviation
APU is used to start the engines right? ive heard that the APU also provides electrical power during flight, like for the lighting and etc... -
that pilot must have a lot of guts. flying low at high angle of bank. if anything goes wrong, its very hard to recover. tried that before in fs.
