At the moment, no aircraft slated to be delivered to OD not even the MAX. If anything can expect a few ex Batik 738/739. 2 ATR's from OD will be going to Wings. Late last year 2 ATR were transferred to Wings. Things could change in the year.

Well if you think about it, there will be more A330's by AUG 2018 so it's probably more to do with the loads for that month. In hindsight if they have the loads it's better that the A380 flies rather then being parked on ground. At least they are trying to improvise load and aircraft availability/usage

From Medan there is a small market, however this is mainly due to the fact that Malaysian carriers cannot get more slots in Chennai. So Malindo use's batik to work their way around getting slots and they have the chennai route pretty much.

Actually they were destined for Thai Lion Air. But pay request by their pilots to fly max meant they scrapped the plan. So in the end Malindo took it. Silliest move they made as you say.

Some rumours are Lion may cancel airbus order. Time will tell.

In this case of malindo they don't take fresh guys for 737. Hence no 737 endorsement flights
