  2. Nah, Malindo is not making money either - there is too much capacity out of SZB. I think FY would have no problems if there was no OD - like in their early years. Note that Malindo is not expanding either - that shows that the demand has maxed out.

Malindo has even reduced its fleet. 4-5 ATR sent back to Wings Air. 2 aircraft usually out of service. Leaving them with 8-10 active aircraft.

  3. Not good news for travellers.

Why do they need the air space to/from the main airport in Malaysia... sigh....

Because the STAR and SID out of KUL, alot fly over/close to Putrajaya. However if they really manage their resources well, i am sure they can for e.g use only runway 33/32L/33 only combination and route traffic arrival and departure away from Putrajaya area.

Presumably an OD bird that would have hibernated overnight at BKI instead ?

Wonder if they had to reschedule their morning flights from BKI as consequence ? My recent 'first of the day' OD flight to KUL was badly delayed - bird was held up by Chinese air congestion at Chengdu :)

The patterns are from KL: KUL-BKI-SDK-TPE departing noon from KUL and Arr TPE close to midnight. From Taiwan : TPE-SDK-BKI-KUL departing TPE 6am arriving into KUL noon/evening
