  3. official visit. Flags are already on display around Putrajaya
  4. What's wrong with flying NB planes? I did PER-KUL on OD recently, and it was comfortable enough. Much better than flying cramped WB planes. And I did a few NB long flights, VN SGN-NRT (321) TK LGW-IST (738) vv, and IMHO the flights were comfortable enough.

  6. switch the terminal then... major carriers operate from KLIA2, cheaper tax for flights beyond ASEAN
  7. If I am not mistaken (based on my previous experience), there are 2. 1 at the front and 1 at the back of the cabin.
  8. Off topic but GA on 29th October will be sending their 330 to KUL too, morning flight (did a dummy booking and found that)
  9. it was a 777 and they were bussed to Bunga raya from satellite. The video on Facebook is a recycled video, during the first EK 380 arrival into KUL
  10. https://www.instagram.com/p/BKYUu_YAF6X/ try this... Purplicious
  11. Ya...3 days ok to prepare. 2 1/2 hours, meaning you're already at the airport. Not a good way to start your journey methinks
  12. Was on OD2106 last night, they've sent me notification regarding flight retiming 3 days before. So flight retiming is normal for OD these days I guess
  13. As of today, the flight departs early to do KUL PER KUL rotation. Hopefully your flight won't be delayed lah......
  14. OD152 - the flight supposes to depart at 3 pm. Retimed to 3.40. In reality, the flight departs at 5 pm (based on 2 weeks observation @ flightradar24). 2 hours delay means OD has to give meal vouchers to pax, and I believe that the retiming is related to this. Why can't they just tell passengers that the flight actually departs at 5 pm? I managed to speak to OD cabin crew, according to their roster, the flight indeed departs at 5 pm. Perhaps someone has to raise this issue to Tribunal Pengguna or maybe MAVCOM?
  15. If I understand correctly, there will be no more Oman Air (WY) KUL-SIN-KUL flights effective 30th October 2016. As mentioned by Routes Online, new WY schedule to South East Asia countries are as follows:- Muscat – Jakarta Overall frequency increases from 4 to 7 weekly. Existing WY847/848 service operates via Singapore instead of nonstop (see separate entry below) WY849 MCT0225 – 1330CGK EQV 257 WY850 CGK1450 – 2000MCT EQV 257 Muscat – Kuala Lumpur The airline is maintaining 7 weekly flights, however 3 of 7 weekly will move to evening departures from Muscat, on board Airbus A330-200/-300 aircraft WY823 MCT0855 – 1940KUL EQV x246 WY821 MCT2105 – 0750+1KUL EQV 246 WY822 KUL0940 – 1250MCT EQV 357 WY824 KUL2110 – 0020+1MCT EQV x246 Muscat – Singapore – Jakarta Operation via Kuala Lumpur being converted to nonstop in both direction, 4 weekly A330-200/-300 operation. It does not have local traffic rights on Singapore – Jakarta sector WY847 MCT2255 – 1000+1SIN1115+1 – 1150+1CGK EQV x146 WY848 CGK1350 – 1645SIN1830 – 2155MCT EQV 14 WY848 CGK1350 – 1645SIN1815 – 2140MCT EQV 3 WY848 CGK1350 – 1700SIN1830 – 2155MCT EQV 6
  16. the 'how to tag' instructions are placed on the check in machine. Feel free to read. And there are MAB staffs too to assist helpless passengers .
  17. I think the same Adriana is now teaching Spanish in Kuala Lumpur @ MyTeacher Languages
  18. yes she is still there, flew with her about 3 weeks ago on 738
  19. It reminds me of kebaya clad Spanish crew onboard Malaysia Airlines years ago. And also the legendary Mapule from South Africa
  20. Indeed it is a very good move made by Malaysia Airlines Berhad
  21. Off topic: What will happen to luggage & belongings under the belly? Are they covered by insurance?
