Just notice from the website booking engine , there are some "new routes" to Tawau, namely Alor Setar, Kuala Terengganu and Kota Bahru. It is a mistake or?
-
waiting for more to come!
-
Read from a local Chinese newspaper that Malindo will cease TWU route on 20 Aug . Such a short life route.

Nice catch! I remember BI always did TnG at old TWU airport with their B767 and A340. During the good old days, there were lotsa 'rare traffics' which seldom appear nowadays at the new airport, such as Poslaju used to operate the 737-200 in Garuda Airlines livery, Merpati airlines F28, and the defunct Bouraq BN-Islander/Trislander.

BI was taken early of March, while C-17 was mid of March,i believe she was here for Ops Daulat.. Both pics were taken by my friend, credits to him

Jakarta: Soekarno-Hatta International Airport (CGK)
Ellist replied to Ryan Soh's topic in Observation Hill
good pics! they dig out all my memories when I was based in Jakarta for my duty for the last 2 years... yeah jakarta is indeed dirty, hazzy,unsafe(?)...but i love the ppl there a lot! Kind and friendly local ppl, world class hospitality( yes i do really mean it! Go try it yourself if not believing me! ) and it is way too far for us Malaysian to catch up! I miss nasi padang and sate pisang a lot! -
look tempting! But still not confident enough to get myself a free ticket...Afraid there is unforseen circumstances in future and burn my ticket($$) later on!

Special Police Battalion To Ensure Security At KLIA From Thursday
Ellist replied to Naim's topic in General Aviation
finally....The national security agency should practice this since long time ago...Well, at least the elites are here now... -
I really hardly see any airport special forces patrolling at KLIA. During my visit to Seoul last year, those airport special forces were everywhere at Incheon airport, with heavy-armed and looked so fit. This is a typical "tak apalah!!" Msia government attitude. Still remember the incidents happened at Pulau Sipadan and Pulau Pandanan few years ago? They didnt really seriously look into the matter during the Pulau Sipadan case, and only after the pirates came again to Pulau Pandanan, the government only started to deploy armies at those surrounding islands....Really terrible to have such government....the "tak apalah" attitude is sucks!
