Maybe it is KJT - Kertajati International Airport the new airport built to replace Bandung's current Husein Sastranegara International Airport which is said to only handle domestic flights in the near future. Currently it's a huge white elephant with hardly any flights, so the talk is that all international flight may soon be forced to transfer there from BDO. With bad land connection, I would just fly to Jakarta and take a bus or train to Bandung as Damri already has transfers from CGK and the railway company is talking of starting some of the regular Argo Parahyangan trains from CGK to Bandung.

In anticipation of the A330, OD had advertised for experienced male cabin crew and hired 17 of them. Yesterday while they were attending training, HR came in and terminated their services.

I was too young, around 5 or 6 to ask her those questions. I just would spend hours looking at all the stuff she got from the plane. I have to say it sparked my interest in aviation

I remember my grandmother taking a 737 charter flight operated by Britannia Airways to London in the early 1970's

BA used to have KUL based crew in the 90's and so did Northwest. Today I think Korean also has Malaysian based crew. I knew a Malaysian steward who was with Ansett.

I understand that Emirates will upgrade the DXB-KUL-MELvv flight to A380 during the winter 2015. -
When at LCCT, the AirAsia kioks also issues the baggage tag. When I used the SITA kioks at KLIA2 it only issues boarding passes.

I too was served the same and also complained. It's just plain sambal and half an egg. The kind you get for RM1 at a warong, not something that you expect to be served on a full service airline. This was the kind that was served during the hight of the Idris Jala cost cutting. It returned back to the normal serving when AJ took over but looks like it's back again. -
At one time, 2 of the 3 weekly HNL/LAX flights were operated by 744 combi and 1 with a full pax 744. So 3 crew (LS, FS and FSS) get to night-stop in HNL for 1 week before joining the next 744 full pax flight. I was lucky to be rostered this patten, it was like the best paid holiday ever! A whole trip to LAX and back would be 21days!

Yes there was, then it became KUL/TPE/HNL/LAX before HNL was pulled

Lion Air and NADI announced a JV - Malindo Air
Alan B. replied to BC Tam's topic in General Aviation
Just flew KUL/DPS/KUL with them and both sectors delayed between 50 mins to 1 hour. While the product was excellent, I too would might choose not fly with them because of their cancellations. Would only fly if I time and travel is flexible. -

Just had a look at their Facebook page and almost every post is a complaint about flight cancellations. -

Malindo has finally introduced Online Check-in -
Also check if you if buying return is cheaper or separate bookings for outbound and inbound. I checked MH to HKT and got RM1,300+ for 2 pax return, however for the same flights and on the same dates, I got RM500+ to HKT and only RM400+ back with separate bookings. No brainer which one I bought.

Indonesian Official Strikes Flight Attendant

A fellow crew member got a nice settlement when a body guard of a popular 80's Malaysian superstar punched her on board. -
Almost every new airport opening has been chaotic, HKG, KLIA, LHR T5. You can plan to the max but come day 1, staff will still be unfamiliar the building and passengers like always when they enter an airport terminal will suddenly lower their IQ level, loose their common sense and will be unable to read signs etc. I believe a gradual opening would be more viable. Moving Tiger/Cebu first, followed by Malindo and finally AK group.
