  1. Yeah seems like it is more to tinjau the passengers than planes..... When the KIA was completed, it was such a let down for planes spotters!
  2. Yesterday evening I flew back from WBGG & there were only 3 planes there, 1 MAS Boieng 737-800, 1 MasWing Twin-Otter & finally my flight Air Asia A320. So empty the airport. So sad to see that.
  3. I heard over the radio that it is off due to too high operating cost!
  4. It's only right the customer is made full aware of the fares is or without the non-optional charges when advertised. Still when one sees all-in-fares, it still registered as inclusive of EVERYTHING!
  5. Hopefully any further delay won't be too long as may then incurred additional cost over-runs! I'm looking forward to using KLIA2 as the current LCCT is way too crowded.
  6. Can only be good news for S'wakians......& about time too....
  7. If this comes to fruition, then will be good news for S'wakian as well as plane spotters should there be more foreign airlines flying into the state.
  8. It is sad to see that KIA is getting less & less international traffic. It appears S'wakians are always on the losing side when it comes to air travel. could it be the volume is not profitable enough but hope there will be more international traffic in the future. Then spotting will be more pleasurable.
  9. Hahaha..... Good one Waiping! But can't do this in our super humid country else we will be all wet before reaching the plane.......then will smell like a salted fish.....
  10. Eh, special parking spot for Saudi Arabian at main terminal?
  11. Sorry to go off topic somewhat... it seems whenever they renovate the old terminal, the viewing area or Anjung Tinjau is no longer practical for spotting. I recall my younger days when the old Kuching terminal, before it was renovated to the current state, we used to be able to go to the 3rd floor & spot aircrat from there. They even remove the road next to the runway where we could be just metres away from the planes.
  12. Good catch MdSaleh & TK! How often do these planes drop by Subang?
  13. Fully understand & feeling is mutual, Ignatius!
  14. Thanks flee! I hope one day I'll be albe to join you all to do spotting at the favourite spot - Ladang!
  15. Great catch uncle Norman! I intend to buy a 55-250mm for my Canon camera, would this be good enough for general spotting like the pictures you've taken from Anjung Tinjau, uncle Norman? Thanks!
  16. Yeah, I miss my home town spotting updates. Hopefully when I travel home during Christmas period can join some of the taiko spotters there for spotting.
  17. Anyone manage to capture Sultan of Brunei B747-430 (V8ALI) today at Subang? Saw it in Flightradar24.
  18. Yeah, such a shame no longer has good spotting locations.
  19. Thanks for sharing the location Uncle Norman. Now I have clearer picture where the ladang is.
  20. Such big smile TK! Keep those wonderful pictures coming....
  21. Yeah so sad to hear that ladang is not longer suitable for spotting. I've not even got the chance to go spotting yet. So guess I'll have to do with Anjung Tinjau which I'll be there later this afternoon to hone my skill...
  22. Good one Chaity....with the nice clear blue sky!
  23. Nice catch there Chaity! Btw, did you take those pictures from the Terminal building near the domestic check in area?
  24. Nice one TK! Woah lamp's cover crack? You knock too hard ah?
