i never said the people of israel were terrorists....i have nothing against jews. they are also people of the book. what i meant was the the government of israel was propagating violence, and is no different to any other terrorist organisation in their tactics. read up on history young 'uns......life is not just about looking at airplanes. think about all the people suffering at the hands of oppression and violence...and that also includes israeli citizens for those who require detailed explanations... i will not say anymore...! sorry for going off in a tangent!

its not that Malaysian passports are not accepted in israel..... the fact is that MALAYSIA does NOT recognise Israel...it recognises Palestine. so even though Israel has been trying to have diplomatic relations with Malaysia, we are refusing. I fully agree with Radzi that Israel is a terrorist nation. they were terrorists to the Palestinians before Israel was formed, and they still act like terrorists to the Palestinians now. most of u guys are just too young and naive to know what has been going on in Palestine since 1947.

oh my god....the LCAT looks incredibly cheap. typical of malaysian attitude....must finish before SIN no matter the cost. now the date has been pushed back to the 23rd, 3 days before SIN. i won't be surprised if we start later than SIN. at the end of the day.....how long will this terminal last? looks like a frigging warehouse la... can it tahan a real thunderstorm????

yeah, u wish! KUL-LAX and KUL-EWR need to be beefed up first to daily services. forget IAH! if we join ST...then maybe we'll have joint service with CO on the KUL-EWR route! MH can do 4xweekly, CO can do the other 3xweekly. we can only dream....

emirates should fly once daily DXB-KUL with 773ER, once daily DXB-SZB with 772, and once daily DXB-Sg Besi with 332 that should cover KL and the Klang Valley nicely....

thats a JL 773 with the raked wing tips guys...they dont have A330s....and even so...they wont fly it to LHR

do you mean that KLM is gonna stop its codeshare with MH?? i hope not....that's the last thing we need. I think MH is acting like a 'spoilt child' and i'm not surprised when nobody wants them in their alliance. MH had a deal with NW in the 80s....but screwed them over...so NW stopped flying to KL. they also had problems with BA, AF, QF and now KL. the senior management are a bunch of money grabbing dimwits who are only there to line their own pockets. sack the lot of them...save more money that way. its the same with the National Health System in the UK.....abuse your staff...take away water privileges, coffee/tea, bread; impose car parking charges; cut your salary; make u work longer hours for less....and then employ more stupid and useless managers who earn at least 60-70k/annum..... its the same everywhere i suppose!

GA can get lost if they think they can't compete with MH. KUL, as sandeep said, was supposed to take over from SIN as GA's hub... this clearly has not happened. if they can't be bothered to operate bigger aircraft to KUL....then tough! life sucks...that's how it works. on the other hand...if TG/LH/SQ buy stakes in GA... Malaysia would be in a worse position. KUL will be getting further and further away from BKK/SIN. Look at VS who were bought over by SQ.....bye bye direct flights to KUL.....bye bye codeshare even! looking at our track record - we can't even keep ASEAN airlines in KUL......forget about the big guys....no one seems interested. whatever happened to AY, EI, S2 and all that...no news as yet! and whats this nonsense about MH and KL's relationship turning sour, Pieter?? WTF are MH doing? at this rate, we would have to join syrianair, azerbaijan air, air djibouti and lao aviation in an alliance (don't worry...this alliance will still serve all SIX continents - unless MH pulls out of EZE!). forget about asking garuda once SQ/TG buys them... we are stuck with our pants down again...

my worst meal was on Qantas (LHR-SIN)..... i requested MOML from BA (codeshare flight) weeks in advance. they said that there was no problem. at the airport....QF said they had no MOML...so had to get the vege option which i reserved. then they bloody gave me cheese and ham quiche...didn't they???? had one bite and felt really sick!

man..i remember the good ol' days where we used to get quite a few IL-62 flights to the old KUL! aeroflot, CSA, LOT as well i think... i used to live in SJ...SS14/3....right under the flight path. they were the loudest aircraft ever!!!

once AK starts flights to BWN....guess which airline will stop flying to KUL???

you can sell planes, buildings, hangars; lay off staff; compromise on inflight services etc etc. BUT if they DON'T STOP the bloody bleeder at the top... its all going to be the same later on. GET their thumbs out... stop the rot, corruption and nepotism... whatever they are doing now will only give them temporary reprieve. MAS only made profits the past two years because: 1. the government assumed all debts 2. THEY SOLD AIRCRAFT.. my two sens' worth

yeah well..... i would not fly via sin.... use KLIA instead and fly direct. plenty of cheap fares from here if u dont like MH. i have been on various airlines incl EK,SQ,QF... MH is by far the best. AFAIK all other airlines have 20kg limits for Y...and its up to the ladies/gentlemen at the counter to decide whether or not to charge u excess.. there's always the risk. and by the way..MH IS 20kg ..read the timetable info...they used to allow students to take in up to 30kg previously (i used to on the LHR route!)... if they want to charge....too bad. i dont mind reducing my luggage just to experience the service...!

i'm guessing vienna (already has 9 weekly flights to KUL - 6 by OS, 3 by MH), rome (3 weekly) and zurich (3 weekly)... London, Amsterdam, Paris and Frankfurt will be fine...

Pieter....why are your aircraft named 'city of karachi, dubai, guayacuil, jakarta' etc etc but there's no 'city of kuala lumpur'.... that's not very nice when KUL is an important destination for KLM now ...! mebbe they should rename one of their planes

the deputy transport minister is downplaying the seriousness of all this... when is it bloody normal to pay RM7500 daily to a consultant... ??? especially when you're losing hundreds of million of ringgit per year! also when the consultant is crap and NOT helping to improve their operations..... i now suspect what people are saying is true...there are bigger hands dipping their fingers into this buffet... RM8 for an egg!! hahahah...telur apa diorang pakai....gajah ke???
