so far what i know is Actually the planning for the B747 is to have major modification as the aircraft will be converted to business jet. unfortunately, during the maintenance they found that the aircraft has a serious corrosion problems and the aircraft is considered scrap. thats why they just let the jumbo enjoy the sunrise overthere. (correct me if there is latest progress on the aircraft)
