  1. Wow...nice clean Panda there. Really looking forward and hoping to nail her in SIN! Hopefully JA606A is still as common in SIN just as she had been before her transformation.
  2. Pieter, the NW is a special flight from NRT. The usual flight operated by a A333 goes out in the morning at 6+am and is irritantingly punctual! Likewise for the NW Cargo flight which comes & goes in the dead of the night. The Transmile is a always a special appearance here for now Though I really don't mind her being a regular at this timing
  3. Had a very enjoyable this afternoon spotting with KC & others...haven't had such awesome afternoon sun for such a long time! Starting off was this blue bird from Doha Followed by this classic by Northwest from NRT Air India sends in their B763 every Monday afternoon as AI480 from New Delhi. Seen here is CS-TLQ, third time lucky in getting a good shot of her:) Last but not least is this Transmile M11F 9M-TGP arriving in gorgeous evening sunlight from SZB.
  4. Nice shot of the Ruslan lifting off, Andrew! Sharing a couple of firsts which I have gotten in the past week. My First Saudi B772, operating a special additional flight SV7890 from Jeddah to Jakarta via Singapore on Thursday. My First shot of Butterfly Orchid B-18305 at long last, seen pushing back as the daily CI662 to TPE.
  5. Nice to have met Pieter for a very short session of spotting yesterday morning at the beach Of course, how could one forget the (surprisingly clean) Saudi B743 that came in just before the evening light went off yesterday
  6. Malaysian Air Force Airtech CN-235-220M M44-07 popped in at Changi early this afternoon
  7. Nice! Thankfully the sun broke through the dense storm clouds when she arrived Raj, here's a link to Jett8's website. For now, they are flying to Dubai, Jakarta, Hong Kong, Luxembourg and Manchester. http://www.jett8airlines.com/ As for me, what made Vesak Day special this year was an end to an attempt to photograph the Eva Air A332 in almost 2 years in good light.
  8. Wow! Fantastic pictures & thanks for sharing KC. The pictures of the check-in area looks so clean and perfect that I almost thought they were screenshots from a computer simulation. The design of the terminal looks spacious, futuristic and not overly complicated. I'm definitely looking forward to the open house at the end of this year. A pity about the viewing mall, although its an improvement over the 'useless' T2 viewing mall.
  9. Yupz, at one period of time time the SIN-BKK were all operated by AB6s (except one evening flight) and us in Singapore got so bored spotting them. As much I loved Thai and it still remained my favourite carrier, their aged AB6s are in dire need of replacement. (Buy some 787s =)). Here's my list of those that I have flown on:- Air New Zealand (B762ER) Cambodian Airlines (B727) Alitalia (B742) Air China (B762, B763, B733) Xiamen Airlines (B733) [Oh the horror...] Singapore Airlines (B772) China Southwest Airlines (A343) Thai Airways (B772, B773, AB6) China Airlines (B738) Finnair (MD-11) Jetstar Asia (A320) Silkair (A320) Asiana Airlines (A333, A320, A321)
  10. Wow....the Dragonair A330 really stands out very well against the amazingly dark background, it looked like it was taken at night with an extremely powerful flash
  11. Nice to meet you, Raymond, during the last day of the RSAF Open House. Wow! Nice night shots from Terminal 1, Raymond. Especially liked the QF B744 where it is nicely exposed. I love the T1 viewing mall since I discovered night photography some time back 2 years ago with good old fashioned clean glass, with the only pity being the fact that its good for only a few gates (namely the D30,D32,D34 gate).
