  1. Friends, Here's an updated consolidated flight schedule for WMKC/KBR, in case anyone would like to go spotting around Pengkalan Chepa. All these and lots of small aircrafts too. Holiday is nigh and I'll be in town! Happy spotting.
  2. Hhahahah... you don't have to. You can write about how people here say to improve the snekboks. Lagipun, capt, if you MB, OLA! (orang lain angkat) Buleh dak??
  3. Captain, do you have the password ke to access the blog? You should be writing there too. Heehhhe...
  4. New livery? How about just leave it 'bare' silver. Like those CX and JL cargo planes? It's going to be so cool.
  5. Although I would have loved LionAir's -900ER better, the -NG is good enough.
  6. Hey hey, I missed this thread... And I missed you while you were here too. Someone promised to call on Wednesday after 3.30pm 'for any development on Pk Eng's visit' but he must've forgotten. Heheheh. July issue of 360? Don't have it therefore was not educated on the subject (as you can see from my HK TR ) Yup, Jln. Ewan in KK is actually a lorong. A back lorong...
  7. I'd like to have 55 of those 737-800's, please. Make mine with winglets!
  8. Alpha-Papa was the one skidded at WBKK several years ago for which I became one of the stranded pax at the terminal! Bad day.
  9. Excellent. Desmond thanks for the lead.
  10. I like the new 'script' typeface better, even though I dislike script typeface. Hmmm... I think I've said this before somewhere.
  11. Is that a FAAM's BAe 146?? Wow... doing research here?
  12. Wow... F50 in Melakaaa!! Very nice Simon. More, please. What's the timetable is like?
  13. Aiyooo 1830?? Gelap already ho...!
  14. Ok guys further "how to improve MH snekboks" pointers. Let's play comparison game... Compare this Breakfast on MH BKI-KUL 28 Jun 2008 with these Lunch on AK KUL-BKI 30 Jun 2008 Give-away question: Which one would you stomach better?
  15. My apologies for stepping on your toes. I don't have any reasons or preference on whom should be given the award because I don't run airports. I also do not know what "continuously pushing the boundaries of excellence in their field" (as per the magazine's copy) means, nor do I know if it has different criteria of selection, different from Skytrax or other assessment bodies. As long as MAHB doesn't charge a fee for their toilets, I am very well pleased. As far as I am concerned they can give awards to the LCCT red and yellow bus services for "pushing the boundaries" in getting passengers at KL Sentral, if they want to. I hereby acknowledge my mistake for perceiving fellow members' truthfully non-judgmental reactions to the alleged 'misappropriation' of the award as a mocking. Indeed they are sterile. And I am the one who is jahat, and has a blocked monsoon drain as a mouth. I am going back to my cave now and draw stickmen and mammoths on the cave walls. Thank you.
  16. So what if Biman got it? How many of you have flown on it or got directly involved with the airline? Oh let me guess, it has got to do with those Bangladeshi workers we think so lowly of and call them Bangla. It's okay i guess. It's just typical third world thinking to think other third world a third world.
  17. I am in town intending to join the celebration, but something came up and I had to divert Will try again next year. OK guys, more pics! More story!
  18. Again, the first line should read: Government officers on official trips will enjoy up to 30% discount when flying with AirAsia. Government departments will enjoy 30% discount when they fly their officers on official trips with AirAsia. The reports so far sound as if the government officers actually get to fly airlines and classes of their choice. So far it has not been the case. They know that they are going somewhere but all their travel arrangements are done by the clerks of their respective departments, in accordance to the effective directives and circulars available.
  19. Thanks for sharing the pictures! That's what being a member of "Malaysia's Premier Aviation Enthusiast Community" is all about. You don't just tell you have it, you share it. Hahhahahahah..... Meor, jangan langgar aku...! BTW, I feel sorry for the Lady. She looks quite badly hurt.
  20. I think it should have been written like this: Government departments can now opt to fly Malaysian civil servants on official duties either on Malaysia Airlines (MAS) or budget carrier AirAsia to destinations plied by the two airlines... Reason: (As far as I know) government servants are given the tickets by their jabatans for official travels. Nevertheless it would be interesting to see if there'd be options actually given. Anything is possible (or otherwise) nowadays.
  21. Alamakkk, the perils of appearing to bash AK in a thread started by the 'AK Fan Club' president. Choose your threads wisely people.... heheheheh. Back to the original question, so far the GOM tickets issued for my official duties (or some call it 'CHOGM'. En Pendy, tau kan it stands for what? Hehehe) and biennial balik kampung trips -- have all been on MH. Note on the latter: Prior to 2005, the GOM tickets were issued to KUL as the end point from BKI. We also had to bear the taxes and charges. After that, they are issued up to the nearest airport to the officer's hometown and the government now pays all the extra cost attached to the ticket. Very generous amount indeed nowadays. It's interesting that since there are now no more MH BKI-JHB flights, my Johorean colleagues have to do BKI-KUL-JHB legs for their balik kampung trips on GOM tickets!
  22. You can check in how many pieces you want BUT the total weight should not exceed 15kg per passenger. Logically, if your friend is allowed 15kg each piece, woooowwwwww what a saving there. Only RM6 for a 30kg of 'cargo'.
  23. Or, you'd prefer a hirsute man with a goatee eating? Focus on the roti canai, Ryan... not on the model... heheheheh.
  24. Let me finish the 3-course I had onboard last week. ... ahhh that's all folks. That's how you can improve the snekboks on MH!
