I actually wondered about that before. As I often see people with large and heavy luggage struggling to hold on to their trollies upon descending that slope.

If you read Tony's tweets,he mentioned that Mr Liow accepted that klia2 is a low cost hub and AirAsia will stick with the name LCCT.

AirAsia to invest RM20mil to promote klia2 http://www.thestar.com.my/business/business-news/2016/06/29/airasia-to-invest-rm20mil-to-promote-klia2/ That should be it. Tony and co managed to work their magic on Mr Liow and the DGCA. AirAsia 1 MAHB 0

Istanbul Ataturk Attacked by Terrorists; 41 Killed, 239 Injured
Mulyadir Fitri replied to flee's topic in General Aviation
Unless all airports secure their public/landside area and allow only pax to enter, this will keep happening. For now, finish whatever you need to do at landside or check in and get the hell into departure quickly. -
That's why they are adamant in changing klia2 to LCCT. To enhance the smokescreen to pax that they are the lowest in fares. With the name klia2, the difference between them and those at the MTB is blurred

AirAsia goes ahead with LCCT2 rebranding http://www.thestar.com.my/news/nation/2016/06/21/airasia-go-ahead-rebrand-klia-2-as-lcct2/?utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=twitter Good God this is seriously silly. As if the confusion between KLIA1/KLIA2 is not enough.

Thailand’s Duty-Free King Buys Controlling Stake in Thai AirAsia
Mulyadir Fitri replied to flee's topic in General Aviation
Hahaha. Yes. Leicester had a fairytale season. TF is probably already scrutinising everything that they have been doing and will try to replicate them at QPR. -
Pitch should be about the same, OD maybe a bit better. I endured close to 9 hours on D7 A330 from SYD (extra travel time due to strong headwind) while the feeling of space is there due to the widebody, I found myself deperately missing the IFE. I did not stock my phone with stuffs, and I could not sleep. Had nothing to do. Was so elated when I saw the islands around Batam and Singapore came into view. Except for the toilets, I dont think spending a long flight on OD will be a problem especially since they are now an FSC

QPR is in the Championship, second tier behind the EPL. Last season they finished mid table. Doubt they can secure promotion to the EPL anytime soon. Leicester meanwhile is the current champions of the top tier EPL. More exposure. -
Kayak is a travel website to search for cheap flights ala Skyscanner

Good exposure for the AirAsia brand too. Leicester is the new EPL champs and their stadium is already named King Power Stadium. You can bet that the AirAsia branding will be all over the stadium and the club soon. -
MAB to Re-Introduce the B747-400; 9M-MPP in Retro Livery

Maybe the words from the grapevine that we heard before this were true in some ways or another? Surely CM would not approve of such wasteful decision -
OT a bit. Can you tell the powers that be in MAHB to install more water dispensers at klia2 esp Gates P and Q? Flew to Sydney yesterday and saw long lines of pax queuing to fill up their water bottles.

MAS A380 - Fleet to be Retained

MH recently revised their subload travel policy to include more family members. I guess loads are still not up too par. LHR is always shown Green in the website and for these few months an offer of around RM700plus return is given for subload bookings to LHR -
The rolling stock is the APM100 by Bombardier, similar to the ones used by Changi when they started their people mover project. They are now using Mitsubishi's Crystal Mover. Perhaps MAHB should consider changing the rolling stock when they start their Sat B project.

Their offices at SBW and MYY are still there. Untouched. Clearly they were planning to return
