  1. I think they will do that once there are more developments between Putrajaya and Klia. (Klia Aeropolis?)
  2. Well, they've been on a public transport building spree lately with Najib taking a personal interest even during the KJ line breakdowns. He's using PT to score brownie points with the urbanites so why not show his care by buying ERL? Surely there are things that YTL craves and the gomen can give in part exchange.
  3. I wonder how much it would cost for the gomen to just buy the ERL from Francis Yeoh and put it under Prasarana/Rapid. Is it really a cash cow for the YTL group?
  4. Things are rosy for them because of the low oil price. The real challenge is whether they can keep the momentum once the price goes up
  5. The media is having a field day with this. Had they manage to return to SYD, this would not have been such a headline news
  6. If you start avoiding airlines everytime they have incidents, you will soon run out of airlines to be on. Or rent a private jet. Or use a boat
  7. The early morning KUA KUL usually has good loads, with almost everybody connecting to another flight. The rest of the day, not so much
  8. While we're on this topic, AF also charges processing fee if you pay using credit card, at least when I booked with them sometime back. I avoided this by using a debit card. This is an industry-wide thing I guess, so much so that EK advertises that they don't have any processing fee on their promo emails and website before this
  9. The AirAsia group is an obedient puppy outside of Malaysia. Here they're like a mafia. Case in point, the klia2/LCCT naming fiasco
  10. Book as usual thru QR's site and select 7 person travelling
  11. QR open jaw tix. You can get to Europe for as low as RM1.1k return. Provided that you can find at least 7 person to travel with you. Available on their website for travel up to June. Some of the available city pairs are KUL CDG AMS KUL, KUL LHR AMS KUL. You can also get KUL JFK IAD KUL for around RM1.7k but again, for 7 person
  12. I have encountered foreigners operating domestic flights too. Usually Filipinos, but I have seen Japanese and Koreans too. And they genuinely enjoy their work and the company of their colleagues
  13. Those are the flights with the most LCD tvs and comforters as baggage. Very unique Speaking of self tag, when will AirAsia debut their self drop feature? Saw a few counters with it at klia2, BKI and I think KCH.
  14. ME3 can counter them with pricing. So no, kangaroo route is still very much alive
  15. I know one hardcore CX fan who flew KUL SIN via HKG just so she could fly CX. And it was not a mileage run
  16. Japanese airlines should jump on this and steal all transpacific pax ex-KUL from the CX group
  17. AirAsia on its website schedule listing has filed planned operation to Europe, marking the airlines return. Current schedule listing shows AirAsia X to operate Kuala Lumpur Istanbul Ataturk Barcelona route on daily basis, effective 30OCT16. Reservation for this route is currently unavailable. 18. They have a very well oiled machine and contingency plans in place. I actually noticed the change of FB logo first. Even the people commenting on their page were clueless about that. Only a short while after that did the news came flooding in. Just a few minutes ago the man himself, His Highness Sheikh Ahmed Bin Saeed Al Maktoum posted a video statement through the Emirates FB page. And this is the latest media statement from them
  19. AirAsia does this at klia2, but it is done at the entrance to the departure halls. But checks are random, they can only do it visually and they will inevitably miss some bags due to the volume of pax coming through
  20. He's divorced already. So for him to hook up with a cabin crew is actually not an issue. Unless somehow it was brought up during his fight for the custody of his children
  21. Perhaps there is someone high up in OD lurking in this forum and had read our disappointment that the Malindo brand is going out. Lol
  22. The Pizza Hut one is known to the banks. I have ordered Pizza Hut online a few times and immediately after that Maybank will call me asking Sir did you order a pizza just now?
  23. I like it. Hopefully they will implement it. Not so much abt security though. With this it will be less crowded around the check in islands. Like Bali
  24. RM70ish I think. I bought it anyways to SYD as I was travelling during the school holidays and there were kids throughout the plane
