  1. Actually that is Aeroline bus which departs for KL just next to my house. I am thinking about taking it to KL to catch my D7 flight to Perth. However, their return tickets are not cheap man. SGD98.00!!!

Well Ryan you may consider First Coach, SGD$55 return depart from Novena Square (Tel: 22873311 - 7am to 7pm) and Arrive in Bangsar LRT Station (which means just 1 station away to KL Sentral to catch the RM9 bus to LCCT). From KL back to Singapore their office/station just 1 minutes walk from Bangsar LRT, behind 7 Eleven, easily visible from the LRT station.

They have 6 departures per day from 7.30am to 6.30pm.

  2. From http://thestar.com.my/news/story.asp?file=...&sec=nation

From midnight Thursday, 5,000 free seats are available for the Perth-KL flights.

The free seats up for grabs are for the travel period between Nov 2 and April 30, 2009, via AirAsia X.

AirAsia X director Datuk Tony Fernandes said the offer was only available on Friday and Saturday and it is in conjunction with the launch of the airline's new route from KL to Perth, Australia.

  3. I gather wheelchair passengers may be accepted only if they can ascend the stairs and walk to their seat. For priority boarding, I guess they will have to pay for it. Interestingly, I can find nothing on the AirAsia website explaining this wheelchair emblem . . .

Can anyone help me with the background to this issue - I believe there was a case of a wheelchair being denied boarding and AirAsia subsequently came out to confirm that this category of passengers is accepted if they fulfill certain criteria.

As for the info on the current Ambulift service, here's some the details : http://www.bernama.com.my/bernama/v3/news_...s.php?id=326341

I hope these info is useful for you.

  4. if AKX can have a chartered flight to bangladesh, serve it on KUL-KCH la.. they can reduce price, hence, i can go back home every week..

Current AK is having 10 flights per day which is roughly 1800 seats per day from each direction, still not enough?

At the moment they are having $6.00 OW++ sales for KUL-KCH for travel from May - Oct, well this is the best time for you to grab your weekly balik kampung tickets.

  5. Nothing to surprise about since their business & market share is getting bigger and better, after all they followed Ryanair model which basically charged for everything. Later they might charge for using the check in counter as well, just like what Ryanair did but free if u use Internet or Kiosk.

For those who complaints and pissed of, well just fly with full service carriers, full stop.
