HAHAHAHowever, I'd prefer SZB tho, much closer...Just checked prices for both airlines on the same dates: -AirAsia: RM100 all inFirefly: RM200 all in.No brainer right?

MH really needs to beef up their Loyalty programme, it's called Loyalty programme for a reason! Few years back I starting flying on MH, being a requirement from my company. But after the shitty treatment to get my membership sorted and missing miles accrued, I decided to change to Singapore Airlines Krisflyer, which had better programme and facilities. Since then I have even signed up their AMEX KF card to get more miles, and have flown religiously on SQ (and probably in excess of 100k miles ). MH, you have just gave SQ some business! I hope they really wake up already la!

These are all purely based on rumours and there is no hard evidence to support this! I would definitely won't believe the rumours, esp with that tag line of 5 star airline with LCCs cost, who in their right business mind would think of such taglines to drive their staff?

There is always one exception.

No point of getting the A380 when you load is not even that high to begin with. They have already cut down the frequency to LHR to twice daily, and that's not fully full in all seats. For SQ, they really need it ASAP, 3 flights daily, and all flights are full, which I truly hate. Even bizarre flying hours are full to the brim.

It's a good move, definitely someone would actually pay. Love the idea from TF's perspective, even though it's not really new.

Agreed, money is a huge factor, if flying was not as rewarding, do you think many would wanna fly for a living? It's a high-risk job! I would so trade my job right now to earn THOSE salary...base checks, staying healthy, I'd do that ANYTIME!

Just caught this on TV (the missed approached), makes me wonder how can airports have different standards in equipment set-ups, and how can a crew have an outdated landing map...I hope these issues are addressed! So sad lah... But thankfully, Korean Air' safety standards have improved greatly. Oh, I'd love to see the SQ incident in TPE been remade, but I think SQ would probably disapprove such remake as it will be bad for their reputation!

Doubt so, I don't know much about cellphones, and how it interferes, but if it really interferes, cellphones should be banned altogether (ie not allowed entry into the plane)

Patriotism is already out of the window - even if my company always use MH, simply because it is the easiest for us to travel from point A to point B. This is good and healthy for MH, will definitely see them buck up!
